Job summary

A leading technology firm in Johor is seeking a Project Controller to assist in managing project controls for data center projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or IT, with 2–3 years of relevant experience. Strong cross-functional coordination, leadership, and client-focused skills are essential. This position focusses on monitoring project milestones, documentation control, and coordinating project meetings to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of project control or implementation experience.

• Familiarity with global data center standards and regulations is a plus.

Project Controller (Data Center) - Based in Johor

Responsibilities

• To assist Project Manager to coordinate, arrange and convene the project meeting and log meeting minutes with subcontractor.
• To monitor the project each milestone progress on PO control, from PR to GR.
• To monitor project weekly reporting and assist to follow up with each issue owner.
• To control project documentation in the project.
• Track and check billing supporting documents from project team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Civil Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• 2–3 years of project control or project implementation experience.
• Solid knowledge of Project Control / Project Management functions.
• Familiar with project control systems, such as ISDP system.
• Proven high performer with strategic thinking and growth potential. Familiarity with global data center standards and regulations (e.g., ISO27001, TIA-942) is a plus.
