Job description

Project Associate (Part-Time or Full-Time)

The work arrangement is part-time during office hours (between 9am and 6pm Malaysian time) Monday to Friday for a minimum of 24 hours per week. It can be either remote or hybrid depending on your location. For those working the 9am–6pm window, Kuala Lumpur based team members can join us for our two weekly office days (Monday and Friday) at our office in Damansara Heights.

Project Description

You will report to the Head of Delivery and work alongside Project Delivery Executives to ensure our team of data labeling annotators delivers the highest quality work to our clients, fueling AI advancements across various industries.

About the Role

You will assist in the operational management of client projects, developing an understanding of data labeling execution. This role demands a high work ethic and strong project, time and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to Project Delivery Executives to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Assist with operational tasks for setting up projects.
• Develop project guidelines and project planning.
• Complete project administrative tasks in line with client and internal standards.
• Provide guidance to remote annotators via internal communication platforms, resolving project-specific queries.
• Perform thorough quality checks for optimal accuracy.

Qualifications

• Possess or working towards a relevant degree such as Business Studies, Analytics, Computer Science, BA or other professional degree.
• Technically competent in Google Suites, highly proficient with spreadsheets; basic knowledge of a programming language is a bonus.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and reliability.
• Fast learner, self‑driven and results‑oriented, doing what it takes to meet targets and make an impact.
• High level of commitment, integrity and an excellent “can do” working attitude.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities with efficient time-management skills, able to multitask and manage one’s own time.
• Resourcefulness – always looking for and trying different ways to arrive at a solution if the general route does not work.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; proficiency in a second language such as Malay, Mandarin or Tagalog is an advantage.
