Job summary

A construction company based in Selangor, Malaysia seeks a Project Executive (QS) to manage projects and assist in various duties involving quantity surveying. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Quantity Surveying and be proficient in English and Bahasa. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred, although in-house training is available for fresh diploma holders. This role involves daily coordination with senior team members and participation in project meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience, except candidates with exceptional qualities.
• No experience required for diploma holders as in-house training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle and run projects under the supervision of senior roles.
• Assist in preparation of final accounts and measurement of Bills of Quantities.
• Attend all project coordination, technical, or site meetings.

Job description

Required to perform quantity surveying duties necessary for the efficient operation of the office and to be based at HQ (Petaling Jaya) / Johor Bahru / Penang.

1. Assists Senior Assistant Technical Director/Assistant Technical Director in day-to-day duties on all projects handled.
2. To provide assistance to Senior Team Leaders/Team Leaders/Senior Project Executive/안마 프로젝트 Executive in the day to day running of projects.
3. Undertake all duties assigned to them by the Technical Director/Senior Assistant Technical Director.
4. To assist on final accounts, measurement of variations, measurement of Bills of Quantities and estimates.

• Diploma/Certificate holders in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa.
• No experience is required as in-house training will be provided.

Project Executive (QS)

1. Handles and runs projects under close monitoring and supervision of Senior Assistant Technical Director/Assistant Technical Director/Senior Team Leader [SATD/ATD/STL].
2. Assists SATD/ATD/STL in day-to-day duties on all projects handled.
3. Attends all Project Co-ordination, Technical or Site Meeting of projects under their care.
4. Assist in preparation of final accounts, measurement of variations, measurement of Bills of Quantities.
5. Assist in preparation of Bills of Quantities allocated by SATD/ATD/STL/TL.
