Overview

PROJECT / ASSISTANT ARCHITECT (PART 1 OR PART 2) – We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Project Assistance Architect to join our dynamic team at Make Arch Design Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the design and delivery of innovative architectural projects that will shape the built environment.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with our experienced architects and designers to conceptualise and develop cutting-edge architectural designs
• Prepare detailed design drawings, models, and documentation to support the planning and construction of projects
• Assist in the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, interior designers, and construction professionals
• Contribute to the project management process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets and specifications
• Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, stakeholders, and authorities to ensure the successful execution of projects
• Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies to inform your design approach
• Liaise with relevant authorities and utility companies on the approval of plan, layout approval, building plan, Certificates of Completion and Compliance (CCC)
• Conduct Client and Consultant Meetings (CCM) effectively
• Able to handle the Contract Documentation and Contract Administration and Management independently

What we're looking for

• A degree in Architecture or a related field, with a strong academic record
• 2-3 years of post-graduate professional experience in the related field or architectural project execution
• Relevant work experience in the architecture industry, preferably in a consultancy or design-focused environment
• Proficiency in using industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong technical skills in areas like construction detailing, building regulations, and project management
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for design and the built environment
