We are seeking a talented Project Architect or Assistant Architect to join our dynamic team at AK Designpro Sdn Bhd in Penang. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of high-profile architectural projects.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with the project team to conceptualise and develop innovative architectural designs
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation to support project delivery
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects
• Provide on-site supervision and project management to ensure quality and compliance with design intent
• Contribute to the firm's continuous improvement by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior team members, and participating in training and development activities

What we're looking for

• Degree in Architecture or a related field
• 4+ years of proven experience in the architecture industry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Excellent design skills, technical knowledge, and proficiency in using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, AI software, Revit)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and the project team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Thorough understanding of architecture regulations, building codes, and sustainability principles
• Passion for architecture and a commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions
