As we continue to expand our strategic initiatives, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to lead and execute high-impact events and programmes locally and regionally.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Programme Manager with strong event management and stakeholder coordination expertise to plan, manage, and execute high-level corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, leadership forums, and strategic programmes. This role is well-suited for a candidate familiar with executive-level, peer-to-peer, and closed-door programme environments, similar to YPO-style leadership forums, summits, learning journeys, and member-driven events, where confidentiality, precision, and experience design are critical. The ideal candidate is extroverted, resourceful, detail-oriented, and confident in engaging with C-suite leaders, founders, government representatives, and international partners, while ensuring seamless end-to-end programme execution. This role requires a candidate with more than 3 years of professional event management experience, preferably in corporate, government, digital economy, or indoor event settings. The Programme Manager must also be willing to travel for regional and international assignments. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, conferences, and strategic programmes.
  • Develop programme concepts, event flow, run-downs, logistics plans, and communication frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, government agencies, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee venue selection, vendor sourcing, budgeting, timeline management, and on-site operations.
  • Manage event, reporting, post-event analysis, and programme documentation.
  • Ensure every event reflects DWG’s standards of professionalism, innovation, and quality.
  • Represent the company in meetings, site visits, and outstation assignments as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Communications, Business, or related fields.
  • More than 3 years of experiences in event planning, indoor event execution, programme management or corporate event operations.
  • Strong project coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication skills, with good spoken and written English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Extroverted personality preferred, confident in engaging people, managing stakeholders, and representing the company professionally.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Professional, mature, and able to handle high-level stakeholders.
