As we continue to expand our strategic initiatives, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to lead and execute high‑impact leadership programmes, including Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO)-style initiatives, as well as events and strategic programmes locally and regionally.

Job Description: Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly organised, articulate, and intellectually driven Programme Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of high-level programmes, leadership forums, strategic engagements, and curated events.

This role is not limited to traditional event professionals. We welcome candidates with strong communication, planning, organising, and stakeholder coordination skills, including those with experience in NGOs, international programmes, policy-related initiatives, leadership communities, or cross-border projects>.

The ideal candidate is extroverted, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and confident in engaging with senior leaders, including founders, C‑suite executives, government representatives, and international partners. The role involves working in closed-door, executive-level environments where confidentiality, judgement, emotional intelligence (EQ), and intellectual maturity are essential.

This position is well suited for individuals with exposure to international relations, leadership platforms, community building, China-related initiatives, or regional collaboration programmes, who are comfortable operating in professional, high-trust environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of leadership programmes, forums, conferences, exhibitions, and strategic initiatives.

Assist in developing programme structures, agendas, run-downs, participant flows, and engagement formats.

Coordinate with internal teams, partners, NGOs, government agencies, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and professionalism.

Oversee logistics coordination, timelines, documentation, and on-site or programme-day support.

Support post-programme reporting, summaries, and documentation.

Represent the company professionally in meetings, briefings, site visits, and outstation or overseas assignments.

Ensure all programmes reflect the organisation’s standards of quality, credibility, and strategic intent.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, Arts, Economics, Business, Technology, Information Technology, Communications, International Relations, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of professional working experience, not limited to event management.

Experience in NGOs, leadership platforms, international programmes, community initiatives, policy-related work, or cross-border projects is an advantage.

Strong communication, planning, organising, and coordination skills.

High level of emotional intelligence (EQ), professionalism, and interpersonal maturity.

Comfortable engaging with senior leaders, executives, officials, and international stakeholders.

Good command of English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Mandarin-speaking & writing proficiency is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and partners.

Exposure to China-related projects, collaborations, or environments is a strong advantage.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential matters.

Extroverted, confident, resourceful, and presentable.

Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
