Job summary

A contract manufacturing leader in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia is seeking a Program Manager to enhance program initiatives and lead efforts for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Program Management within a Contract Manufacturing environment and possesses a strong understanding of planning processes and Supply Chain Management. This role offers the opportunity to drive customer satisfaction and operational efficiency while working in a dynamic industry setting.

Qualifications

Overview

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities

• Primary interface between customers and operations to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Manage products throughout the Product Life Cycle by directing activities across functional team including SCM, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations and Finance
• Own the P&L for assigned accounts, conduct analysis on business efficiency and maintain profitability of account
• Deploy entrepreneurship skill to enhance account development
• Lead continuous business improvement efforts to achieve key KPIs such as cost, on-time delivery, and operational flexibility
• Drive customer satisfaction through effective customer management, feedback analysis, corrective actions, and service improvement programs
• Serve as the focal point for contractual negotiations, ECN, RFQ between internal (operational) and external (customer)
• Monitor industry, technological, legal, and operational changes, recommending and implementing process improvements as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business, Engineering, Marketing or Economics
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Program Management, serving as a Program Manager within a Contract Manufacturing environment; experience in the machining industry is highly preferred
• Familiar with Contract Manufacturing supporting Semicon Equipment Integration Assembly, with proven experience in RFQ management and product costing
• Strong understanding of planning processes and Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Solid business and financial acumen, particularly within a Contract Manufacturing environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a high level of commitment to overall job responsibilities
