A progressive engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering projects. You will be responsible for preparing schedules, interacting with clients, and ensuring successful project completion while adhering to customer requirements. This role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. Candidates should have a strong background in project management and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on delivering quality results on time.
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
Support areas of improvement to customers for manufacturing and process feasibility on new models’ development.
Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
Resolve customers/engineering and management project issues to ensure KPIs are delivered.
Lead and drive the project towards achieving customer schedules and objectives, thus conforming to customer requirements.
Prepare related documents (DFM, Gantt Chart, & etc.) & compile and review documentation (FAI,FAIR, PPAP submission) before submitting to the customer.
Extensive communication with the project team, vendors, and customers.
Monitor the daily progress of the projects and continuously update to the Senior BD Manager.
Correlate all cost information within time frame of bid date needed by customers.
Research and analyze sales options.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
Collect and analyze information and prepare data and weekly sales reports to Senior BD Manager.
Meet with potential clients to determine their needs.
Interprets customer' drawing, specification and requirements and offer cheapest solutions as well as value added for the customers.
Compile /organize Bill of Materials (BOM) and utilizing existing in-house process knowledge to prepare quotation.
Undertake other special assignments, ad hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
