Position Summary
  • To lead, develop and execute Professional Education & Development strategies in order to drive country business objectives.
  • Partner with internal and external key stakeholders to drive JJV’s Eye Health agenda in partnership with Government Institutions, Professional Associations, Optometry Academies and Eye Care Professionals.
  • Ensure strong professional bench strength and build future capabilities to support business ambition.
  • Ensure the success of new product launches by supporting new product development programs, processes, clinical claims and ECP adoption program.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the eye health strategy, partnering with local Government, professional associations, Optometry Academy and Eye Care Professionals.
  • Lead, develop and execute Professional strategy in order to drive country overall business objectives.
  • Lead, develop & recruit Professional Affairs Consultants to partner Eye Care Professionals and differentiate their practice through delivering best-in-class Eye Health Experience.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Industry Associations, Academic Institutions, business owners, senior management, key customer accounts and key opinion leaders in shaping the professional environment and raising primary eye care standards.
  • Develop where relevant education materials, tool kits, case studies, trials and ensure strong representation in professional publications along with independent speakers briefed to support new product launches.
  • Champion & develop internal capability in ensuring appropriate technical and clinical training, knowledge and assessments are carried out for country cross-functional departments.
  • Key leading member of the local Copy Clearance process to ensure all technical/clinical information in Johnson & Johnson Vision materials are factually correct and claims are fully substantiated for both internal and external communications.
  • Provide support to local, regional and global quality and regulatory functions to maintain highest levels of compliance and end-consumer experience.
Qualifications
  • Requires minimum Bachelor's degree in Optometry
  • CL experienced Optometrist - BetweenClinic or Retail Experience Preferred
