Job summary

A recruitment agency in Malacca is seeking a candidate for the SMT Department focused on equipment operations. The role requires understanding of universal machines, screen printers, and equipment troubleshooting. Ideal candidates have a diploma in Mechatronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering and at least one year of experience, though fresh graduates will also be considered. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO is preferable.
• Experience with manufacturing environment and equipment.

• Understand equipment operations in the SMT Department.

Job description

Work in the SMT Department understanding equipment operations

Able to program universal machines, screen printers, SPI, reflow ovens, AOI and selective soldering.

Troubleshooting of equipment.

1st level support for PCBA production

Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of electronic circuit board manufacturing equipment and systems

Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to assist in troubleshooting and to procure replacement parts

Analyse data to identify and resolve systemic process and performance issues

Performs other duties as assigned or required

Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Mechatronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

1 year (s) of working experience in the related field/ fresh graduates are encourage to apply.

Technical knowledge and experience with electronic products and processes along product lifecycle, experience with electronic industry manufacturing equipment.

Ability to solve complex problems.

Must be computer literate

Good verbal and inter communication skill in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Able to work under time pressure

Able to attend Recovery / Overtime on non-working days.

Knowledge of ISO is preferable.

Experience in using Precision Machining Process and Continuous improvement process.

Experience with manufacturing environment Higher Level Assembly (HLA).

Experience in Quality report and Presentation material format.
