A leading manufacturing company in Port Klang seeks an individual to manage production tasks effectively. Responsibilities include preparing materials, monitoring machinery for proper operation, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols. Candidates should have experience in production settings, with a focus on troubleshooting and record-keeping. This position supports streamlined production workflows and effective handovers, ensuring a safe environment for all staff.
Shift briefing: Meet with the supervisor or team leader for a handover or briefing on the day's tasks, safety instructions, or updates on production targets.
Safety check: Ensure that all safety equipment at their workstation in place and implement LOTO.
Inspect equipment: Check the machinery, tools, and equipment for any issues. Ensure everything is properly calibrated and ready to run.
Prepare materials: Ensure the required raw materials, tools, and components are ready for the production run as scheduled.
Set up machines: Adjust machines, load materials, and configure settings according to production requirements.
Check production schedule: Review the production orders or schedule for the day to understand the number of units to be produced and any specific instructions
Prepare paper splicing for continuous production.
Monitor machines: Constantly check that the machines are running smoothly, looking for any signs of malfunction or wear.
Quality control: Conduct regular checks on the products being produced to ensure they meet quality standards. This could involve measuring, inspecting, or conducting tests on samples.
Troubleshoot issues: If machines stop or malfunction, take the appropriate action, either fixing minor issues or alerting maintenance for more serious problems.
Record keeping: Document key metrics, production rates, or downtime issues. This helps track performance and informs any corrective actions needed.
Shutdown procedures: Once the production run is complete, follow the proper shutdown procedures for the machinery and clean up any leftover materials.
Report issues: If any significant problems occurred during production, document and report them to supervisors or maintenance teams
Cleaning: Clean the workspace and equipment, making sure everything is ready for the next shift or day.
Shift handover: Brief the next shift on the status of the production process, ongoing issues, or any adjustments to be made.
Support maintenance by doing autonomous maintenance CIL.
