Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Production Executive to manage and monitor Production Orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget. The ideal candidate should have a minimum degree in Business and at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the steel fabrication industry. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu, along with SAP and AutoCAD knowledge, are essential. This role involves preparing production drawings and coordinating reports with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Follow up Production Orders and close them on time.
• Prioritize operations and materials to maximize output.
• Monitor Production Orders completion within budget.
• Prepare drawings for the production department.
• Coordinate weekly production reports among supervisors.
• Liaise with engineering for project drawings readiness.

Job description

Follow up Production Orders and close Production Orders on time.

Prioritize operations and materials to ensure maximum output and minimize delay.

Monitor the Production Orders are carried out on time and complete within the budget

Keep paperwork organized.

Attend team meetings to discuss production status and on‑going problems.

Work with Managers to analyze job orders and develop production tasks and schedules.

To follow up and work with the operation team towards meeting the KPI’S target.

Ensure Safety and 5S operation meeting the requirement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To prepare drawings for the production department such as Fabrication & Assembly.

To coordinate weekly production reports among production section supervisors.

Update the weekly production report and report to Superintendents and Production Manager.

Liaise with the engineering department in relation to drawings to ensure that all project drawings are ready prior to production schedule.

Meeting all the operation KPI’S

Managing the operation cost within the budget sets

REQUIREMENTS

Education

Minimum Degree, preferably in Business

Experience

3 years of working experience as a Production Executive

Experience in steel fabrication industries is an added advantage
