Production Support Analyst – Payments & SWIFT

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Compensation: Competitive Base + Bonus (DOE)

Certus Recruitment Group is partnered with a global financial institution seeking a skilled Production Support Analyst to join their Payments technology team in Kuala Lumpur.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, improving stability, and supporting mission‑critical payment flows—particularly those involving SWIFT and related payment rails.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support payments applications, ensuring stability, accuracy, and timely processing
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, escalating as required and contributing to root cause analysis
• Support SWIFT messaging flows (MT/MX), connectivity, and related payment processing components
• Maintain and enhance monitoring dashboards, alerts, and observability tools
• Assist with automation tasks and improvements across scripts, tooling, and operational processes
• Collaborate with technical teams across infrastructure, networks, and application development
• Produce documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles to support ongoing operations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in Production Support or Application Support within financial services
• Understanding of Payments, SWIFT messaging, and related operational workflows
• Strong technical skills across UNIX/Linux, SQL/Oracle, networking basics, and batch scheduling tools
• Scripting knowledge (Python or Shell) is beneficial
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Prometheus, or ITRS
• Clear communicator with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
