Job summary

A solar technology leader in Malaysia is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure production tasks are completed efficiently. Responsibilities include personnel control, equipment management, and team training. Candidates must have at least 1 year of production management experience, ideally in the Solar Module Manufacturing industry, and be able to manage teams of 10 or more. Working hours follow a 4-2 shift pattern with immediate starters prioritized.

Qualifications

Job description

To ensure the completion of production tasks with quality and quantity, under the leadership of the production superintendent, supervise the implementation of various rules and regulations of the team, ensure maximum production capacity, and promptly handle and provide feedback on various abnormal situations.

Job Scope:

Personnel control: daily attendance status, attendance confirmation notice, observation of the staff's working condition during the work (abnormalities are found and communicated in a timely manner), whether the operating standards are implemented in accordance with SOP (problems are found and pointed out on the spot for correction), timely communication and promotion of the company's announcements;

Equipment management: daily handover of equipment abnormalities to the use of the shift before and after the shift, form confirmation during the shift patrol, handling of equipment abnormalities and making effective measures when abnormalities occur to ensure maximum capacity;

Planning - execute the superior and production task planning instructions, organize the members of the group to complete the production tasks as required;

Material control: for the daily production work orders to confirm the material, to prevent the material (packaging materials) mixed with the wrong cause of bad or waste and quality accidents;

Newcomer training: daily interview and communication with new employees entering the team to help them quickly integrate into the group;

Hold pre-shift meeting to review yesterday's KPI's and to explain important matters;

Organize the whole team to complete the production task instructions;

Other work as explained by the superior.

Job Related Experience:

At least 1 year production management experience / worked as leader / supervisor in manufacturing industries.

Experience in leading or managing team size larger than 10 person.

Working experience in Solar Module Manufacturing Industry will be highly preferred. Other industry such as semi-conductor, electronics manufacturing also will be considered.

Immediate starter will be prioritized.

Work Day: 4-2 Shift pattern (4 days working, 2 days off)
