Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a professional for a Production Planner role in Batu Pahat, Malaysia. This position requires a diploma or degree in management along with at least 3 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the food manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Senior Planning Manager and other departments to ensure that production schedules meet market demand. Qualifications

• Preferably from the food manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Planning Manager to plan production schedules.
• Work closely with Demand & Supply Planning department to ensure sufficient stock.
• Assist R&D manager regarding new product matters.
• Collaborate with material planner on raw/packaging materials purchasing.
• Monitor and control stocks of raw and packaging materials.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the superior.

• To assist the Senior Planning Manager to plan for the production schedule to fulfill local & export orders.
• To work closely with the Demand & Supply Planning department to ensure there is sufficient stock for local and export market.
• To assist the R&D manager on the matter relating to new product.
• To work closely with material planner on the materials (raw / packaging) purchase for running production.
• Monitor stocks of raw materials & packaging materials and control to their minimum level.
• Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
