Job description

We are a multi-national company involved developing, manufacturing and marketing for intelligent and ergonomic products, located in I-park Industrial area, Kulai, Johor. We are looking to hire for Production Planner.

You will play an important role in:

Responsible for overall production planning for assembly plant.

Plans and prepares production schedules for product assembly; draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet the packing line requirement.

Create SAP work orders and release to production lines within required timeline (3 days prior to production start date).

Ensure material availability for production, to check all raw materials are available before planning and production run.

Monitoring movement of components, raw materials and review production schedules also advise production team accordingly.

Coordinate with various departments (production, warehouse, QA, engineer & etc) to ensure smooth flow of production.

Monitoring the production daily output & work orders status to ensure it's following the schedule.

Assist production department to take inventory.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:

Diploma/Degree holder in any related field.

At least 2 years working experience in manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required as you would need to liaise with stakeholders from China.
