GBM ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. As a fulltime member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in optimising our production processes and ensuring we meet our manufacturing targets efficiently and cost-effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain production schedules to align with customer demand and production capabilities
• Work with buyer for material availability & production capacity for shipment commitment to customer.
• Provide production schedule plan according to customer OTD demand.
• Monitor production progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed to address any bottlenecks or delays
• Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and quality control, to identify and resolve any issues that could impact production
• Calling & coordination meeting with respective department pic for solving all the gating issue which impact shipment date & qty.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Assist in the development and implementation of new production planning & control systems and processes

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production planning & control principles, including capacity planning, materials management, & scheduling
• Excellent analytical & problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify & implement effective solutions
• Proficient in using production planning & control software, such as ERP systems
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
• Required language - Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base & stakeholders.
