Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Gelang Patah is seeking a Planning Assistant Manager to oversee production and material planning. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food industry, and possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with Mandarin being an added advantage. This role includes managing inventory, ensuring effective planning, and improving operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in the manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, and Halal Standards required.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and material planning.
• Manage raw material inventory levels and schedules.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials by following up on purchase orders.
