Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Control

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in accordance with sales forecasts and customer demand.

Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production targets.

Monitor production performance against KPIs such as output, yield, downtime, and efficiency.

Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse to ensure uninterrupted operations.

2. Process & Operational Management

Oversee seasoning production processes including weighing, blending, mixing, filling, packing, and palletizing.

Ensure adherence to approved formulations, SOPs, and work instructions.

Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Drive process standardization and best practices across the seasoning line.

3. Quality, Food Safety & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with food safety systems (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000) and local regulatory requirements.

Work closely with QA to manage in-process quality control, deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions.

Ensure traceability, proper documentation, and record-keeping for all production activities.

Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits related to production operations.

Monitor and control production costs including raw materials, packaging, labor, utilities, and wastage.

Analyze production variances and implement corrective actions to improve cost efficiency.

Support cost reduction initiatives in line with company profitability and operational excellence goals.

5. People Management & Development

Lead, supervise, and develop production supervisors, executives, and operators.

Plan manpower requirements, shift arrangements, and overtime to meet production demands.

Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training to build a competent production team.

Enforce discipline, safety awareness, and compliance with company policies.

6. Equipment, Maintenance & Safety

Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure machine availability and reliability.

Participate in preventive maintenance planning and breakdown analysis.

Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental (OSHE) requirements.

Promote a strong safety culture and ensure accident prevention measures are implemented.

Prepare and submit production reports covering output, efficiency, wastage, and issues.

Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).

Lead or participate in cross-functional improvement projects related to seasoning operations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 1–3 years in a managerial role.

Hands-on experience in seasoning, powder, or dry food production lines is highly preferred.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Solid knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory compliance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Proficient in production planning, ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft Office.
