A leading semiconductor manufacturing company in Penang seeks a motivated Production Leader to bridge production operations and management. Responsibilities include overseeing technical production, maintaining quality standards, and providing administrative support. JPLINTEC is a semiconductor-related company, primarily manufacturing mass flow controllers and heat exchangers since its establishment in 2012. Most of these products are exported overseas and used all over the world. Sales have doubled in the last five years, and the company continues to expand its business. We have also acquired ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications and are accelerating our growth.
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and high-energy Production Leader to join our team. This is a unique "Player-Manager" role designed to act as a vital bridge between our production operators and the management office. You will be responsible for overseeing technical production processes while supporting administrative functions to ensure operational excellence.
1. Technical Production & Quality Oversight
Precision Assembly & Maintenance: Perform hands-on technical assembly and specialized cleaning protocols for high-precision components.
Equipment Monitoring & Calibration: Manage and monitor the performance of high-precision sensors and mass flow-control systems (in-house product) to ensure they meet technical specifications.
Process Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during the production cycle to maintain high yield and quality standards.
Operational Targets: Ensure daily production targets are met while upholding rigorous quality control benchmarks.
2. Administrative & Back-Office Support
Document Management: Maintain and organize production records, ensuring all technical documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
Workflow Optimization: Support Department Heads in streamlining administrative tasks to improve overall departmental efficiency.
Process Transition: Master current manufacturing models to eventually spearhead the introduction and setup of new production lines.
Team Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the production floor and the office.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate clear communication across teams to ensure smooth workflow transitions and resolve bottlenecks.
Experience: Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field preferred.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Malay is required. Fluency in Japanese and Chinese is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office suite) and a quick learner for technical equipment.
Soft Skills: Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be a proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of responsibility.
RM2,500 – RM3,500/ month (Negotiable, based on working experience)
5 working days, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (Break time: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm)
