A leading vehicle assembly company in Kedah is seeking an operations professional to manage documentation related to departmental KPIs, oversee budget planning, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will monitor controlled documents, conduct performance reviews, and act as a key contact for operational matters, contributing to the efficiency of the plant. Responsibilities

• Align and consolidate all documents related to KPIs.
• Monitor issuance and distribution of controlled documents.
• Compile and analyze operation reports and highlight issues.
• Conduct periodic reviews for management.
• Setup monitoring and reporting system according to standards.
• Monitor budget planning and utilization.
• Assist in annual assembly fee meetings.
• Act as key contact for operational performance.
• Control manpower planning at the plant.
• Ensure workplace safety and health compliance.
• Execute general safety and environmental duties.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Align, monitor and consolidate all documents relevant to departmental and customer related KPIs; including maintaining data, update, and follow up and filing of documents on a regular basis.
• Execute and monitor issuance of controlled documents and distribution of related documentation to specified parties within agreed time period.
• Execute and monitor compilation and analysis of operation related reports and highlight to management any issues and identify possible root causes for further action.
• Plan and conduct periodic reviews for management to review actual achievement of performances against set target.
• Set up monitoring and reporting system for the overall Chery Kulim Plant according to Chery Group requirements/standards.
• Monitor budget planning for Chery Kulim Plant including Opex, Capex and utilization of budget (plan vs actual).
• Involve in annual assembly fee meeting - management discussion with principal regarding assembly fee verification on actual and provisional operation figures.
• Key person for Chery Kulim Plant during yearly M-Plan planning activity.
• Contact person for Chery Plant representative regarding plant operational performance and data.
• Execute, control and monitor for Chery Kulim Plant manpower planning (appraisal performance evaluation / promotion / hiring / transfer / shift planning / etc).
• Take care of the safety and health of himself/herself and other persons who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions at work.
• Execute the General Duties of Employer under part IV Section 15 of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974).

Its manufacturing facility is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, occupying 200 acres of freehold land. Production first commenced in August 1997.
