Job summary

A manufacturing company in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a qualified individual to oversee production processes. The role requires at least a degree in manufacturing or engineering and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing field. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in ISO standards and should possess skills in production processes and team collaboration. Excellent proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is an advantage. Candidates must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in production/operation/manufacturing field.
• Knowledge in ISO 9000/ISO 14000/IATF 16949 will be added advantage.
• Competencies for a Wastewater Treatment Plant or Schedule Waste Management or Scrubber System is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production processes as per production plan.
• Liaise with engineering on machine breakdown and repairs.
• Generate daily & monthly production reports to manager.
• Ensure proper documentation for IATF 16949 compliance.
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and find solutions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production processes as per production plan.
• Monitor manpower arrangement with supervisor to ensure processes run as per plan.
• Liaise with engineering of machine breakdown and repairing arrangement.
• Liaise with Quality control department for monitoring products & processes quality.
• Collect daily production output data and perform analysis.
• Generate daily & monthly production report to manager.
• Ensure raw material condition before running production and coordinate with production planner.
• Ensure proper documentation for IATF 16949 and ensure implementation and compliance.
• Daily briefing with supervisor and section leader on production performance.
• Liaise with respective department to ensure all workers, materials and machinery will be available when required.
• Organize paperwork including purchase orders and record maintenance.
• Investigate problems, analyze root causes and find out solution when issue existed.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Basic Requirements

• Possess at least Degree or equivalent in manufacturing or engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in production/ operation/ manufacturing field.
• Knowledge and skill in manufacturing procedures.
• Knowledge in ISO 9000/ ISO 14000/ IATF 16949 will be added advantage.
• Competencies for a Wastewater Treatment Plant or Schedule Waste Management or Scrubber System is beneficial.
• Skill in production processes, material and basic mathematics.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (added advantage).
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Good team player, self-discipline, dedicated, able to work under pressure and deadline oriented.
