Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to monitor production processes and ensure timely completion of orders. The role involves managing production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and addressing production issues. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the production processes to ensure that production orders are completed on time.
  • Ensure all aspects of production meet specific requirements.
  • Create, modify and manage production schedules to enhance productivity.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Address and resolve production issues promptly.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job description

Monitor the production processes to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within cost budget

To ensure all aspect of production or processes meet to the specific requirements

To ensure productivity improvement through process changes, documents, specifications and work instructions

Create, modify and manage production schedules and understand the production line processes to ensure the productivities in time schedules

Responsible for monitoring inventory levels including raw materials purchased and finished good produced by production

Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimise delays in production

Coordinating production operations in accordance with material and equipment availability

To ensure health and safety measures are in place and managed as per statutory requirements

Other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned

Requirement
  • Diploma/ Degree in Manufacturing or any related field of study
  • At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing company or similar position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
