Overview

• - Essential skills for this role are strong leadership, problem-solving, and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, including lean manufacturing and automation.
• - Prepare regular reports as required.
• - Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times and that the appropriate safety regulations and policies are complied with.
• - Developing, implementing, and maintaining engineering policies, processes, and standards, aligned with IATF 16969 and continuous improvement principles.
• - Applying knowledge of 5 Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) to support product development and process validation activities.
• - Collaborating closely with Quality, Production, and Business Development teams to resolve technical and process-related challenges.
• - Providing strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering ( Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic) or related field.
• Minimum 6 years experience working in manufacturing, automotive, or electronics industries.
• Solid understanding of IATF 16969 and automotive quality management systems.
• Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, project management, and data analysis systems.
• Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and provide data-driven solutions.
• Good in communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and verbal)
• Good mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge.
