Job description

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ohta Precision (M) Sdn Bhd in Kajang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of quality assurance and control across our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

Prepare drawings and updated with the latest version

Research and development tasks including design, fabrication, evaluating and troubleshoot of parts, assembly, internal jig & fixtures, machines and processes

Monitor and follow up on FA and secondary process

Prepare production daily check sheet and product detail

Lead, train and guide the production and assembly team

Plan and organize the daily production activities

Ensure all products and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to the finished result

Manage fabrication with sub-contractors to ensure they continuously meet requirements on fabricated parts quality, pricing and deliveries

Modify and improve work processes to enhance quality, effectiveness and efficiency

What we're looking for

2-3 years' experience in understanding on assembly process, machining and documentation

Strong technical understanding of quality control processes, tools and techniques

Proven ability to analyse complex data, interpret results and implement effective quality improvement measures

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
