Job summary

A leading technology service provider in Kulai, Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor responsible for overseeing staff and production of PCB products. The ideal candidate will have at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in assembly lines. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for maintaining workflow and quality standards.

Job description

Supervises staff to produce manufactured PCB products, and organizes and monitors workflow.

Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.

Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.

Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change.

Researches and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to improve efficiency of processes and reduce unnecessary costs.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and content, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

What you must have to apply:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor\'s Degree in any Engineering skills.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing environment and the experience in assembly line is the most preferred.

Strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferable to candidate who have experience working in E&E / PCBA Industries.
