Job summary

A manufacturing company in Klang City is seeking a professional to assist in managing production costs and improve project schedules. The ideal candidate should have a related degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in assembly processes. Management & Leadership
  • Assist the Production Manager/Asst. Manager in managing and controlling production costs, and project schedule improvement.
  • Design, review, and update assembly-related workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
  • Ensure assembly equipment maintenance, workplace safety, and cleanliness.
Reporting & Coordination
  • Monitor and review daily recurring assembly operations without fail.
  • Report to Production Manager/Asst. Manager following daily, weekly, and monthly reporting structures.
  • Communicate any operation delays (with baseline impact analysis) or unexpected issues to Production Manager/Asst. Manager via group chat or direct briefing.
Development and Improvement
  • Propose and implement processes changes to enhance assembly productivity.
  • Improve assembly workflows, SOPs, and related documentation.
  • Enhance assembly quality for both standard and nonstandard fabricated parts.
  • Refine production costing methods and execution processes specific to assembly.
  • Develop and maintain planning and scheduling systems for assembly.
  • Involve product improvement & standardization.
Requirements
  • Related Degree holders/advance diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Technical training or certification in manufacturing or assembly processes is preferred.
  • Courses in electrical assembly, wiring, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of switchboard products and assembly processes.
  • Solid understanding of electrical components.
  • Familiarity with wiring principles and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams.
