Production Engineer - Job Description

We are looking for a Production Engineer to implement and maintain production operation and quality improvement programs. This role will be taking part to lead the drive of the production by cooperating with respective parties to achieve the company’s target.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the production and quality assurance planning, including the planning of manpower in order to meet the company goals.
• Study and conduct research for the well utilization of the machines or process capacity.
• Identify improvement opportunities in all areas and conduct analysis of available data for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with respective departments on production process control matters to ensure the structure is on the right track towards the future growth planning.
• Ensure that company’s quality system and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Take immediate action when machine breakdown and closely follow up.
• Analyse, study and identify cost savings or cost reduction opportunities and maintain records of cost savings activities.
• Ensure monthly reports are prepared on a timely manner.
• Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required by the department.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years working experience in covering full spectrum of production operations in food manufacturing industry
• Experienced in supervising a production team.
• Experienced in people and project management.
• Familiar and hand‑on using SAP system.
• High integrity with good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to liaise with different level of stakeholders and management.
