Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is seeking a Production Costing Engineer to develop accurate cost structures for server racks and related products. The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering and 2-5 years of experience in costing within metal fabrication. Key responsibilities include cost analysis, collaboration with various teams, and ensuring efficient cost data entry in ERP systems. This role demands strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in costing or manufacturing within metal fabrication or related field.
• Strong knowledge of production processes such as CNC turret punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating and assembly.
• Familiar with BIM, routings and time-study analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review product cost models for server racks and related manufacturing products.
• Calculate standard costs for various production items and perform variance analysis.
• Analyze cost drivers like sheet metal fabrication and packaging.
