Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor is seeking a motivated individual to assist the Production Department with day-to-day administrative tasks. Responsibilities include preparing production and inventory reports, monitoring stock levels, and preparing safety reports. The ideal candidate should have a diploma and preferably 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems are advantageous. The role requires teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in any discipline.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with ERP, Inventory Systems, and Order Processing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily plant administration work.
  • Prepare production and inventory reports.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Prepare monthly safety reports and assist in safety activities.
  • File all Production Reports appropriately.

Job description

Assisting Production Department in the day-to-day plant administration work.

Preparing daily/weekly/monthly production & inventory reports and monitoring inventory movement.

Monitoring stock level and placing order for office supplies, safety & housekeeping related items and production non-stock items.

Responsible in preparing monthly safety report and assist in organizing safety activities i.e. printing safety awareness posters.

Proper filing of all Production Reports (for all production lines).

Any other duties that may be assigned by the Superior.

Requirements
Education/Academic background
  • Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in any discipline
Experience
  • Preferably 2 years related working experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge & Skill
  • Familiar with ERP, Inventory Systems, and Order Processing will be an added advantage
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package such as Word, Excel and Power Point
  • A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details
  • Works well in a team environment and able to work under challenging situations
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage
