Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for each training session
- Review the merchant’s package, deal information, and handover notes from Sales and MOM.
- Confirm training details with the merchant (date, time, online/onsite, expected attendees).
- Check that login access and basic setup are ready so the training can run smoothly.
- Deliver Full POS trainings
- Conduct Full POS trainings for cashiers, supervisors, outlet managers, and owners.
- Walk them through key workflows such as opening/closing shift, taking orders, applying discounts, collecting payments, and viewing basic reports.
- Use simple, practical examples that match their business type (café, restaurant, retail shop).
- Deliver advanced feature trainings
- Run focused sessions on advanced features (e.g. reporting and analytics, promotions/discounts, table management, basic inventory and stock, loyalty or customer management) when required.
- Help merchants understand how these features support their daily operations and decisions.
- Run online and onsite trainings
- Host online trainings via tools like Zoom or Google Meet.
- Travel for onsite trainings at merchant locations, including outside Klang Valley when needed.
- Represent StoreHub professionally and maintain a positive, helpful presence during all sessions.
- Handover and follow-up
- Summarise what was covered after each training and highlight any action items for the merchant (e.g. complete menu upload, add new users).
- Log training notes, key questions, and potential risks in our internal systems (e.g. Salesforce, Intercom).
- Flag follow-up needs or issues to MOM or Support (Care) so they can take the next action.
- Improve training quality over time
- Observe common questions and post-training issues, and refine your approach to reduce confusion.
- Share feedback with the team to improve training guides, materials, and the overall onboarding process.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-have
- At least 1 year in a customer-facing role, such as trainer, customer support, customer success, implementation, or F&B/retail operations (e.g. supervisor, floor manager, outlet trainer).
- Comfortable speaking to groups and answering questions live, both online and face-to-face.
- Able to explain systems and processes in clear, step-by-step language, especially to people who are not tech-savvy.
- Strong sense of responsibility and organisation – you prepare properly, show up on time, and follow through on tasks.
- Willing and able to travel for onsite trainings, including to other states.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with POS systems, F&B/retail operations, or SaaS products.
- Experience delivering online training (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
- Familiarity with tools like Lark or Slack and any CRM or ticketing system (e.g. Salesforce, Intercom, Zendesk).
