Job summary

A medical sales firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a motivated sales representative to generate new sales opportunities and maintain existing business. This role involves building strong professional relationships with clinical staff, executing strategic account plans, and delivering product training. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a related field and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with 1-2 years of sales experience preferred. Job description

Generate new sales opportunities and maintain existing business.

Develop an understanding of each account’s culture, competitive pressures, financial state, stakeholders and decision makers.

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clinical and administrative staff in assigned accounts in the territory to support continued business.

Develop and maintain a strategic account plan to defend sales in accounts in assigned territory. Execute the plan to increase sales volumes in assigned accounts.

Maintain awareness of competitive products and marketing practices, and keep sales management informed concerning them.

Verbally deliver clear and concise instruction on the safe and efficacious use of assigned products to customers in and out of the Operation Theater setting, including in-services for surgeons and clinical staff.

Identify opportunities for surgeons and senior clinical staff to attend company-sponsored professional training programs.

Address customer complaints in accordance with Company policy and advise management promptly of any situation beyond the scope of authority.

Understand and demonstrate high performance practices and expectations in daily work activities.

Meet monthly and annual sales targets.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in the related field.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Fresh graduates and nurses are encouraged to apply.
  • Between 1 to 2 years of sales experience. Experience within the medical or surgical device industries will be an added advantage.
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment, high degree of integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Willing to travel and must possess own vehicle.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Nurses and perfusionists are encouraged to apply.
  • Preferable from Medical Devices or Medical Equipment sales background.
