A leading specification sales company in Malaysia, located in Johor, seeks an individual to promote and specify products to architects, consultants, and contractors. Responsibilities include conducting market research, generating leads, and supporting the Specification Manager. The ideal candidate has a degree in Business Administration or a related field and experience in technical sales, with excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. The role requires traveling within Malaysia and possibly overseas.
Promote and specify company products to architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and government agencies.
Support the Specification Manager in product specification, market penetration, and project tracking.
Conduct market research, site visits, and client meetings to identify project requirements and opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, consultants, and industry partners.
Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, presentations, and project follow-ups.
Deliver product presentations and technical briefings to architects and project stakeholders.
Participate in sales & marketing activities, exhibitions, and roadshows when required.
Continuously update product knowledge, especially in industrial laminates and building materials.

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
1–2 years of experience in specification sales, project sales, product specialist, or technical sales is an advantage.
Experience dealing with architects, developers, consultants, contractors, and government bodies.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written); ability to speak Chinese dialects is an advantage.
Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas.
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Presentable with strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Able to work independently, manage tight timelines, and work extra hours when required.
