Qualifications

  • Jobsite experience within Asia Pacific region advantageous.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Willingness to work in an international environment with regular travel.

Job Description

As a Product Manager, you will support and assist driving product innovation processes and product improvements in the Asia Pacific Area that also include pricing, product specification and definition of supply chain. Moreover, you will analyse potential new business fields and identify opportunities for new Doka products and services to increase market penetration. This role reports directly to the Head of Product Management and is based in Malaysia.

Your responsibilities
  • You will be required to interact with customers, gain feedback and understand their concerns and future Temporary Works requirements.
  • You support and initiate Go-to-market processes, product re-launches, and product exits.
  • You conduct country-specific product trainings and represent Doka at construction industry events such as exhibitions, seminars, and webinars.
  • You monitor and analyse competitors, construction methods, and trends, and conduct market studies to identify opportunities for new Doka products and services.
  • You provide advice to country teams regarding Doka products and their optimized usage, and adjust documents from the Group Product Management to meet country market requirements for new product introductions.
  • You oversee and manage the Area product portfolio, streamlining country product portfolios to improve the quality of local standard items and ensure alignment with internal standards.
  • You lead assigned Area product initiatives within the framework of the 'Locally Specified Article Process,' guiding development teams through all phases of the respective projects.
  • You collaborate closely with Procurement MEAAP, R&D MFE and IHA to jointly work on innovations and synergise on resources.
Qualifications

  • Previous experience of Doka or other formwork systems would be of benefit.
  • Proven understanding of customer needs and strong analytical skills especially in the East Asia Pacific region.
  • Jobsite experience within Asia Pacific region would be an advantage.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Interested to work in an international environment and travel regularly.
