As our Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the product and team towards success, combining your strategic prowess with your passion for people, products, and progress.
Manage the whole business portfolio for assigned product and any other products which the management deem fit in the future.
Accountable and responsible for assigned product P & L and team members.
Managing the entire product line cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. Maintain leadership position of assigned product while expanding the white spaces in Malaysia.
Implement Marketing Concepts for the products concerned, considering market and product-specific peculiarities in order to secure and strengthen the position on the market.
Manage Hoshin plan, active monitoring of sales funnel with commercial team, achieve goals relating to revenue and variable gross margin together with Area Sales Executives.
Principal liaison and execution of marketing strategies in line with Principal’s expectation.
Monthly forecasting for external and quarterly forecasting for internal numbers to ensure that all local marketing activities are in line with principals’ direction.
Identify potential product enhancements based on customer feedback and report insights, feeding them back to product development teams.
Assist to negotiate and conclude contracts with Area Sales Executives within the scope of competency and if above these limits in agreement with the Head of Marketing.
Document monthly report on the results reporting to the Head of Marketing within the scope of the reporting procedure. To ensure proper management of CRM with the subordinates.
To manage inventory to ensure enough supply.
Collaborate with internal functional teams ie. supply chain team to manage product availability and lead time.
Maintain a permanent sales-specific exchange of knowledge with subordinates and supervisors as well as specialized development in the field of by means of conferences, seminars, meetings and training events.
Observe and analyze the developments and trends as well as the competitive situation on the diagnostic market in order to derive the need for action.
Make visits to customers (key accounts) in coordination with Area Sales Executives in order to maintain own knowledge of the market and to resolve concrete problems in the area of responsibility and for concrete sales promotion.
Communicate inventory information to sales and provide product support and training.
Assisting in gathering specific information on competitors (pricing, mailings, product features) and giving sufficient information for the Area Sales Executives to counter competitor products offering. Keeping an up-to-date database on market information.
Prepare technical bid documents, presentations, and address inquiries.
30% traveling time is anticipated, though depending on situation.
