Job summary

A leading company in the FMCG sector is seeking a Product Executive to manage regulatory matters for food and supplements, handle Halal compliance, and support quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This position requires knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and excellent communication skills.

Job description
Product Executive (Regulatory & Quality)

Manage and handle regulatory matters for food, supplements, and non-food products, including product classification, registration, labelling, certifications and approvals under relevant authorities such as NPRA, BKKM, LIU, KPDN, JAKIM and etc.

Act as Halal Executive for the company and ensure compliance with the Halal Assurance Management System.

Handle trademark registration and renewal processes for company products.

Support internal and external audits including documentation preparation, corrective action follow-up, and closure of non-conformities.

Conduct product checks and manage retention samples to ensure traceability and quality control.

Liaise with regional offices and forwarding agents to ensure smooth product export and timely regulatory compliance.

Provide regulatory and quality support to product team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.

2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality assurance (preferably in FMCG, food or cosmetics industry).

Good understanding of BKKM, NPRA, Halal, ISO, and other local regulatory frameworks.

Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organization skills.

Good communication and coordination ability across departments and external agencies.

Independent, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
