Job summary

A food manufacturing company based in Malacca is seeking a Product Coordinator (Export) to manage compliance with export regulations and documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in export operations within the food or FMCG industry. Key responsibilities include managing logistics, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting sales with export documentation. The role may involve international travel to promote the company's products at trade fairs and exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in export operations, preferably in the food/FMCG industry.
• Experience dealing with China on food safety standards is preferred.
• Understanding of local and export markets is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle all related documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists).
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and apply for necessary permits.
• Keep up-to-date with import regulations of target markets.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling and logistics for timely delivery.

Job description

We are seeking experience Product Coordinator (Export) to ensure company’s product are compliance with Malaysia or destination countries regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle all related documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists, COO, Bill of Lading, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with export regulations whether on Malaysia or destination countries including in applying for export permits, certifications (e.g. FTA, HALAL, HACCP), and product/ingredients registrations where required.
• Keep up-to-date with import regulations of target markets (e.g. Halal, food safety standards, packaging laws).
• Coordinate shipment scheduling and logistics for timely delivery.
• Support the sales and marketing team with export documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Travel internationally to attend food fairs, exhibitions, and trade missions to promote the company’s products.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in export operations, preferably in the food/FMCG industry.
• Preferable those have experience in dealing with China on food safety standards.
• Understanding on local and export market will be added advantage.
