Job summary

A leading technology firm in Bayan Lepas seeks a Procurement Executive to establish and oversee procurement processes and supplier management. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electronics, over 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in both Malay and English. Responsibilities include budgeting, contract management, demand analysis, and quality assurance of supplier deliveries. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ERP systems and inventory management, along with a proven ability to develop cost management strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in electronics related majors.
• More than 5 years of experience in supplier development for electronics, PCBA and other related materials.
• Over 5 years of experience in business negotiation and contract management.
• More than 3 years of experience in data analysis of procurement business.
• Familiar with inventory management and experience in leading inventory improvement projects.

Job description

Procurement Executive / Senior Executive

Establish the system and process of procurement work, deploy and implement the company's SRM system, develop and control the department's budget;

Analyze the material demand situation and supplier situation, and organize local supplier development, certification, review and exit;

Developing and organizing the implementation of cost management strategies for materials, accounting for standard costs, and controlling purchasing costs;

According to the product demand plan of sales operation, formulate corresponding procurement plan and stocking plan, organize and supervise the implementation;

Monitor contract execution and delivery acceptance, responsible for on-time delivery and quality of orders; follow up on reconciliation with suppliers, account management and payment matters;

Evaluating material categories and key materials with supply risk points, leading supplier capacity and risk assessment;

Summarize and analyze purchasing data, submit purchasing analysis reports to management, and establish monthly purchasing analysis table.

Bachelor degree or above, preferably in electronics related majors, Malay, English as daily working language;

More than 5 years of experience in supplier development for electronics, PCBA and other related materials,

More than 5 years of experience in business negotiation and contract management, more than 3 years of experience in data analysis of procurement business;

More than 5 years of experience in ERP, SRM,SAP system and understanding of the basics of Lean;

Familiar with inventory management and experience in independently leading inventory improvement projects.
