Job summary

A leading plantation company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a professional to assist in tender projects and bulk purchases. Responsibilities include liaising with departments for purchase requirements, preparing tender documents, and managing supplier relations. Candidates should possess a recognized degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience, along with strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in the related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with various departments for purchase requirements and prepare tender documents.
  • Compile, evaluate data and clarify specifications with suppliers.
  • Create Purchase Requisition whenever necessary.
  • Prepare Award Letters and Purchase Orders upon tender approval.
  • Coordinate import permits with suppliers and Regional Office.
  • Monitor and assist in fuel storage permit renewal.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Update Procurement Guidelines.
  • Conduct Anti Bribery & Corruption due diligence on new vendors.
  • Manage Material Master in various systems.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks and support product quality issues.

Job description

To Assist in Tender Projects and Bulk Purchases

  • liaise with various departments for purchase requirement and ensure proper preparation of tender documents for invitations
  • Compile, verify, evaluate data and do clarification on specification with suppliers
  • Create Purchase Requisition whenever necessary
  • Prepare Award Letters and Purchase Orders to allocated supplier upon tender approved
  • Coordinate import permits with suppliers and Regional Office in Sabah where necessary
  • Monitor and assist in fuel storage permit renewal
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Update Procurement Guideline whenever there is item obsoleted / end of life
  • Conduct Anti Bribery & Corruption (ABCS) due diligence evaluation and review towards new vendors prior start purchase as per company policy
  • Material Master Management in various systems
  • Complete ad hoc tasks and duties as assigned
  • Support in issues related to products quality and submit claims (replacement) where necessary
  • Follow up on payment status
Requirements:
  • A recognized Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in the related field is required
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, proactive and able to work independently
