Key responsibilities
  • Source and assess local and international vendors, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective, high-quality, and timely supply.
  • Manage day-to-day procurement operations including purchase orders, shipment tracking, and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Resolve supplier issues, including delays, quality concerns, service problems, or invoice discrepancies.
  • Support vendor performance reviews and supplier evaluation processes in alignment with ISO standards.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with suppliers to ensure long-term reliability.
  • Work closely with internal departments to align procurement activities with production and project requirements.
  • Assist in executing sourcing strategies to improve efficiency, lead times, and cost control.
  • Conduct site visits to suppliers when necessary to strengthen relationships or resolve operational issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience; fresh graduates with strong potential may also apply.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and contract management.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Independent, proactive, and resourceful team player.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain coordination.
