About the role

We are an established engineering company seeking a Procurement Engineer to support our operations through strong engineering knowledge, cost control, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure engineering materials, components, and services
• Negotiate the best or most cost‑effective contracts and deals
• Understand engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM
• Perform cost analysis and control procurement budgets
• Negotiate delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers
• Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar position (at least 2 years) in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Reasonable written and verbal communication
• Great organizational and planning skills
• The ability to identify market trends and follow client specifications
• Strong negotiation, contract management and cost control skills
• Familiar with ERP systems and procurement processes
