Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Process Utilities Technician to manage chemical dosing and ensure production efficiency. This role requires completion of a technical school with a specialization in environmental protection/chemistry and good communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Ensure chemical dosing is correct always, no impact to production.
  • Monitor dosing system on SCADA.
  • Replace chemical correctly and in time.
  • Take samples for analysis by laboratory after making up chemical for production.
  • Notify the foreman immediately in case of abnormal situations.

Skills

Basic English Communication skills
Good computer skills - process control system
Ability to operate operation independently

Education

Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Process Utilities Technician (Chemical Dosing)
Your Responsibilities
  • Make sure efficient usage of existing facilities.
  • Ensure chemical dosing is correct always, no impact to production.
  • To create a qualified 6S working environment.
  • To monitor sub- contractors’ activity during construction period, including move-in, installation and commissioning.
  • Improve personal accomplishment and professional quality, and cooperate with the team leader to build a harmonious team.
  • Monitor dosing syatem on SCADA.
  • Makeup production related dry chemicals.
  • Replace chemical correctly and in time.
  • Taking samples for analysis by laboratory after making up chemical for production.
  • Strict supervision of chemical dosing system, to do a good job of system records such as replacement records.
  • Trouble shooting support.
  • When an abnormal situation occurs, it should immediately notify the foreman, and actively cooperate with the foreman in response to the ORP emergency procedures.
  • Other job assignment from superior.
Your Profile
  • Completion of technical school with major environmental protection/chemistry.
  • Basic English Communication skills.
  • Good computer skills - process control system.
  • Ability to operate operation independently.
