Job description

Process Optimization & Improvement

• Analyze existing roller chain production processes (stamping, heat treatment, assembly, etc.).
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain quality.
• Conduct time and motion studies, cycle time analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.

New Process Development

• Develop and validate new manufacturing processes or upgrades.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by designing scalable and efficient production methods.

Tooling and Equipment Management

• Specify, evaluate, and commission jigs, fixtures, dies, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery/process issues and work with maintenance to ensure uptime.

Quality and Compliance

• Work closely with QA/QC to ensure processes meet ISO/IATF 16949, and customer-specific standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.

Documentation and Standardization

• Prepare and update work instructions, SOPs, PFMEA, process flow charts, and control plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation for audits and production traceability.

Cross-functional Support

• Collaborate with Design, Maintenance, and Production teams for continuous improvements.
• Train operators and technicians on new processes or improvements.
