The Process Engineer plays a dual role, combiningtechnical process engineeringwithexecutive supportto the Chief Operating Officer. The primary responsibility is to drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational standardization across Greenverse’s facilities, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
In parallel, the role supports the COO in coordination, documentation, follow-up on operational matters, and executive communications. This position requires strong analytical capability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to balance operational priorities with timely executive support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Engineering & Operational Improvement
- Analyze and evaluate current processes to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain process flow diagrams (PFDs), SOPs, WIs, and standardized documentation.
- Configure and optimize process parameters to improve yield, throughput, and resource efficiency.
- Conduct process simulations, feasibility evaluations, and mass balance analysis.
- Monitor operational KPIs and troubleshoot process issues to maintain stable plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with plant teams, laboratory, QHSE, and maintenance for process-related improvements.
- Support the planning and execution of process-related capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and implementation.
- Provide technical training and operational guidance to supervisors, operators, and technicians.
- Prepare technical reports, improvement proposals, and continuous improvement updates for management.
2. Executive Support to COO
- Assist the COO in managing daily operational follow-up, deadlines, and action items.
- Prepare presentations, reports, briefing notes, and executive summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, documentation, and schedules involving cross-departmental teams.
- Ensure timely communication and alignment between HQ and site operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
3. Mobility & Support
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to plant sites (Kerteh, Gebeng, and Klang Valley, etc) when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, or Process Engineering.
- Advance qualification (Master's degree or equivalent) in a related field are an added advantage.
- Professional Certification (e.g., PE license or relevant engineering membership) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with process simulation and optimization software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in process control systems, automation, and data analysis.
- Excellent computer skills such as Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced) / Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong communication skill with the ability to prepare clear technical and executive-level reports.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
