A global EMS manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to take ownership of manufacturing processes, optimize production, and support new product introductions. The ideal candidate will have over three years of process engineering experience, hands-on skills in SMT and THT processes, and familiarity with IPC standards and lean methodologies. A global EMS manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer to take ownership of PCBA and box-build manufacturing processes, drive production optimization, and support ramp-up and NPI activities. This role requires strong hands-on experience in high-mix, low-volume electronics manufacturing.
RM6,000–RM7,000 basic salary + fixed allowance

End-to-end process ownership from NPI to mass production
Exposure to global customers and complex product platforms
Strong internal support across engineering, QA, planning, and production
Own and optimize end-to-end PCBA & box-build manufacturing processes
Support NPI builds and ensure smooth mass production ramp-up
Develop and improve process flow, layout, and work instructions
Lead yield improvement, cost reduction, and process stabilization initiatives
Provide hands-on support for SMT & THT line setup, hand soldering control, and torque standards
Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 and other manufacturing standards
Manage ECN/ECO changes, PFMEA, MES documentation, and process controls
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement corrective actions
Drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methods
Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or relevant field
3+ years of process engineering experience in EMS / PCBA / electronics industry
Hands-on experience in SMT/THT, box-build, soldering, and assembly processes
Familiar with IPC standards, MES systems, ECN/ECO, PFMEA, and control plan documentation
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills
Knowledge of lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma or related CI tools is a strong advantage
