• Understand overall company process flow and AS9100 requirements.
• Manage technical issues from projects.
• Ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure engineering process compliance and proper documentation.
• Work closely with QA for configuration and risk management.
• Generate engineering documents accurately and on time.
• Involved in NPI and Prototype development.
• Lead technical and engineering review meetings.
• Ensure proper engineering change control.
• Implement safety and 5S plans in the workplace.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To provide technical support to technician, inspectors and Production.
• Develop and improve processes, methodologies, system, tools and services to enhance overall process and product efficiency.
• Understand overall company process flow and AS9100 requirement.
• Manage technical issue arise from project undertaken by the company.
• To ensure effective implementation of CA/PA which has been identified.
• To ensure overall engineering process compliance by ensuring proper record fill up and the use of controlled copy of drawing / WI/TL etc.
• To work closely with QA department to ensure proper configuration management and risk management throughout the product realization process.
• Ensure accuracy and on time engineering document generation - WI, Tool List, Process Sheet, BOM, drawing etc.
• Involved in NPI, Prototype development to ensure capability and stability in producing the required product as per customer requirement.
• Carry out engineering process investigation, improvement and development by request.
• Provide technical training for employee whenever required.
• To work with inter‑departmental to ensure on time prototype/FAI development.
• To follow up material availability for prototype / test cut / FAI development.
• Carry out customer's or product's specification study and ensure proper communication of requirement throughout the organization.
• Generate and maintain product BOM.
• Generate and maintain process cycle time.
• Operational jig and fixture maintenance and verification.
• Involved in operation statistical analysis on process, tools etc.
• Engineering document generation, review and maintenance. (FMEA, CP, WI, TL, NC, Drawing etc)
• Carry out customer engineering data pack verification and confirmation on the validity and accuracy.
• Engineering related information compilation to program division on quotation submission purposes.
• Ensure proper engineering change control throughout the product realization process.
• Ensure overall 5S, FOD and safety plan implementation in workplace.
• Appointed as Member of Internal Review Board (IRB) to review NC part and identify action, CA/PA.
• Lead in technical & engineering review meet in reviewing configuration, engineering changes and improvement opportunity.
• Define method, process for assembly, part manufacturing.
• Any other task assigned by the superior.

Preferred Qualification

• Aerospace industry experience.
