We are seeking experienced and highly skilled professionals to lead and oversee the daily operations of our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Malacca. This role calls for a detail-oriented and analytical leader with strong communication and management skills to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will collaborate across departments, providing valuable insights, guidance, and strategic support to drive operational excellence and achieve business goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Your Role in Our Team
Process Development & Improvement
  • Develop, establish, and optimize metal stamping processes to achieve targeted quality, cycle time, and cost.
  • Analyze current production methods and identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and equipment utilization reviews to improve efficiency.
Tooling & Equipment Support
  • Collaborate with Tooling, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve technical or process-related issues.
  • Support the design, fabrication, and validation of jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production.
  • Ensure all equipment and tooling meet safety and performance requirements.
Quality & Process Control
  • Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions, and control plans to ensure consistent quality output.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process-related quality issues.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI), first article inspection (FAI), and process validation (PV) activities.
  • Work closely with the QA team to maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality standards.
Documentation & Data Management
  • Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow charts, and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Maintain accurate process data, reports, and improvement records.
  • Support engineering change requests (ECR) and ensure documentation accuracy in ERP/MRP systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Tooling departments for seamless production operations.
  • Provide technical support and training to production personnel.
  • Participate in customer audits, technical meetings, and process reviews when required.
Who We’re Looking For
Education
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in process engineering within the metal stamping or precision manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of metal stamping process setup, press machines, and tooling design.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, SPC, PFMEA, and problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
  • Familiar with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and measurement systems (e.g., CMM).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong initiative, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Good command of English, and knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) will be an added advantage.
