Here is where you will come in:
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within production, focusing on process optimization and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all materials and components meet production requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to the production team, ensuring smooth daily operations and resolving any process‑related issues.
  • Implement and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct regular process audits to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that production processes align with product design and quality requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, including planning sessions, and provide updates on process improvements.
  • Analyze data from production processes to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams in implementing process changes and ensuring their successful integration into daily operations.
  • Create and lead training programs for the production team to improve their technical and operational skills.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards, ensuring all production processes adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors to maintain and improve the efficiency of production operations.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Engineering field or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in semiconductor manufacturing industry, with a focus on process engineering, is often preferred.
  • Competent and knowledgeable in problem solving and quality/statistical tools such as 8D, PFMEA, Fishbone Diagram (Ishikawa), 5 Why Analysis, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Pereto Analysis.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Ability to work with design engineers, production managers, quality control teams, and procurement to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Supplier and Vendor Relations: Ability to collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of components, materials, and services.
  • Technical Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document processes, present findings, and provide training to operators and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Conformal Coating, PCB Assembly, Wave Soldering and Reflow Soldering is an essential.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
