A global energy business is looking for a Principal Solution Architect for Procurement to lead digital transformation initiatives. The role involves defining procurement architecture using SAP S/4HANA and Ariba, engaging with multiple teams to ensure scalable solutions. Preferred candidates will have at least 12 years of experience in SAP architecture and a strong understanding of procurement technologies. This position offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between office and remote work.
This role collaborates with procurement, legal, finance, technology, and business partners to align solutions with transformation goals. You will also engage with enterprise architects, solution teams, and global forums to ensure scalable and secure procurement capabilities. Working multi-functionally, you will supply technical expertise and strategic guidance to support the delivery of digital procurement transformation.
Additionally, this is an ERP leadership role which will be supporting and mentoring the ERP teams based in location and will be the liaison point including being part of the extended ERP leadership team for the VP ERP.
As a Principal Solution Architect for Procurement, you will be the strategic and technical authority for crafting, governing, and delivering next‑generation procurement solutions using SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, BTP, and complementary platforms. You will drive the digital transformation of Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes, integrating best‑of‑breed technologies such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), eSignature, and supplier risk management tools.
